Bootcamp's NCLEX cheat sheet page lists 40 sheets, and exactly 7 of them download free: analgesics, diabetes, growth and development, infection control, preeclampsia, prioritization and therapeutic communication. No account, no email, no payment. The other 33 carry a Premium badge and open only inside the Bootcamp app.

That gap matters because the number students see quoted is 140 plus. It is a real number, but it belongs to the paid membership, where Bootcamp's pricing page lists "140+ Printable Cheat Sheets" under every plan. We opened all 40 sheet pages on 25 September 2026, downloaded the free seven, counted their pages and recorded the update date printed on each one. This review is what that count found.

NCLEX Bootcamp cheat sheets overview

A cheat sheet here is a short PDF on one clinical topic, laid out like a textbook chapter that has been boiled down to its tables. The prioritization sheet is typical: a numbered table of contents, then Bootcamp's four tier prioritization pyramid, then the rules for applying it, then the exceptions.

Every one of the 40 sheets is credited to Dr. Emily Wilson, the nurse educator who built NCLEX Bootcamp, and each sheet page prints an update date. The library sits alongside Bootcamp's other free NCLEX material, including the printable study schedules we reviewed separately, which are free in the same unusually literal way.

NCLEX Bootcamp cheat sheets review for 2026

The free set is seven sheets, not 140

The page gives no total and no filter for what is free, so the only way to know is to open all 40. We did. Seven sheets show a Free badge and a download button that resolves to a public Google Drive file. The remaining 33 show a Premium badge, and on those pages the download button is present in the markup but hidden, leaving one route: "Download on NCLEX Bootcamp", which lands in the app.

Nothing here is a trick. Bootcamp badges the premium sheets openly, and the free seven are free without conditions, which is rarer than it should be in NCLEX prep. The problem is downstream: search results and AI summaries read "140+ cheat sheets" off the marketing and attach it to the free page. If you arrive expecting 140 free sheets, you will find seven.

The seven sheets are better than their format suggests

A cheat sheet that is four pages long is not really a cheat sheet, and that works in Bootcamp's favor. The infection control sheet opens with a transmission based precautions table that pairs each precaution with its PPE and its room assignment, then hangs the contact precautions list on the mnemonic "Really Sick Infections Might Spread". The prioritization sheet builds a four tier pyramid, airway and safety at the top, stable and chronic issues at the bottom, then spends a page on the exceptions, including the two situations where circulation comes first: life threatening bleeding during disaster triage, and cardiac arrest.

The diabetes sheet separates type 1 and type 2 by mechanism before it lists a single assessment finding, which is the distinction that makes the question stem answerable. The analgesics sheet splits nonopioid, opioid and adjuvant drugs, then gives the nursing considerations that get tested, such as premedicating before wound care because pain is easier to prevent than to treat.

This is dense, exam shaped material. It is also the reason the page count runs to six: these are compressed lessons, not one page crib sheets, so printing all seven is 33 pages.

Most of the library has not been touched since 2024

The update date printed on each sheet page, as on the prioritization sheet, is the most useful thing Bootcamp publishes about the library, and it tells a mixed story. Eleven sheets carry 4 February 2026, and that group happens to include all seven free ones plus four pharmacology sheets. One, asthma, is dated 12 September 2025. The other 28 still read 6 November 2024.

Set that against the calendar. The NCSBN's 2026 RN test plan took effect on 1 April 2026 and runs to 31 March 2029, so every sheet in the library, the February ones included, carries a date from before the current plan took effect. Bootcamp says elsewhere on its pricing page that its prep already matches the 2026 test plan changes, and core clinical content does not expire the way a blueprint does: a preeclampsia pathophysiology diagram is as true now as it was in 2024. Still, if you are choosing between the free seven and the paid library, the freshest sheets are the ones you can already get for nothing.

Pricing

The seven free sheets cost nothing and ask for nothing. There is no trial, no card and no email wall, which is why they are worth the download even if you never buy anything from Bootcamp.

The other 33 come with a membership, and Bootcamp's pricing page sells access by block of time rather than by month:

Every plan lists the same contents: 2,600 plus questions, 50 NCLEX cases, crash course videos, 4 readiness exams, the study schedule creator and the 140 plus printable cheat sheets. So the cheat sheets are never sold on their own, and nobody should buy a membership for them. They are a small part of a question bank purchase. The pass guarantee, on the 2 and 3 month plans only, requires that you buy at least 30 days before your exam date.

Who NCLEX Bootcamp cheat sheets are best for

Students who want a worked example of prioritization. The single most useful free sheet here is prioritization, because it gives a decision rule and then tests the rule against its own exceptions. Management of care is the heaviest category on the test plan and the one students most often study by vibes.

Bootcamp students. If you already hold a membership, the full 140 plus library is in your account, it is organised by the same topic tags as the question bank, and the free page is the wrong door to use.

Anyone printing a small revision pack. Seven PDFs, 33 pages, no account. That is a realistic thing to print on the Sunday before an exam and annotate by hand.

Students in the seven topics. Maternity revision gets preeclampsia, paediatrics gets growth and development, mental health gets therapeutic communication. If your weak area is on the list, download it today.

When you might look elsewhere
