Math Notion DAT Worksheets Review

Math Notion gives away 119 printable DAT math worksheets, each with an answer key, with no account and no email address. For sheer free volume in DAT math, nothing else comes close.

They are not DAT worksheets. We pulled the file list from the DAT page and from three other exam pages on the same site, and the DAT, SAT, ACT and ATI TEAS sets are the same 119 PDFs: identical URLs, nothing unique to dentistry in any of them.

Math Notion DAT worksheets overview

Math Notion is a math workbook publisher. Its worksheet hub lists 29 exams, from the ACCUPLACER and the ASVAB to the GED, the SAT and the DAT, and each one gets a page of free printable PDFs.

The DAT page opens a worksheet per skill. Click Rounding and you get a two-page PDF: 36 fill-in-the-blank items on page one, the answers on page two. That is the shape of all 119. The four we downloaded held 36, 28, 19 and 16 items, so if the rest are the same length the set is somewhere near 3,000 questions.

What you get for nothing:

• 119 PDFs, every one a direct download that returns without a login
• An answer key inside each file, on page two
• One skill per file, so a single weak topic is quick to isolate
• Coverage from rounding whole numbers up to logarithms and trigonometry

What the page also sells, at the top of the same screen, is four paid titles: the DAT Math Workbook at $12.99 down from $18.99, the DAT Math Practice Book 2020 and DAT Subject Test Mathematics at the same price, and a DAT Math Bundle at $65.99 down from $94.95. The worksheets themselves are never gated.

Math Notion DAT review for 2026

The DAT set is the SAT set and the ACT set

Every worksheet link on the DAT page points at /wp-content/uploads/2024/01/, and none of the filenames mentions the DAT. We compared those 119 URLs against three other exam pages on the same site.

The SAT page, the ACT page and the ATI TEAS page each serve 119 worksheets, and all 119 are the same files as the DAT page. Not similar files. The same URLs.

This is not a limit of the site. Its ISEE Lower Level page publishes a different set of 88 worksheets that shares only 5 files with the DAT set, so Math Notion does build a separate set when it decides an audience needs one. It decided dental applicants did not.

The practical reading: the word DAT on this page is a label, not a filter. Nothing here was selected because the ADA tests it.

Two worksheets in five drill something the DAT does not test

The ADA's DAT 2026 Candidate Guide says exactly what the 40 Quantitative Reasoning items cover. Five content areas: algebra, meaning equations and expressions, inequalities, exponential notation, absolute value, ratios and proportions and graphical analysis; data analysis, interpretation and sufficiency; quantitative comparison; probability and statistics; and applied mathematics word problems.

We sorted all 119 titles into those five.

Fifty of the 119, about two in five, drill topics the Guide does not name under Quantitative Reasoning: 18 arithmetic, 10 geometry, 7 trigonometry, 6 logarithms, 5 sequences and series and 4 complex numbers. The words trigonometry and logarithm do not appear anywhere in the Guide. The only time geometry appears is "molecular geometry", in the General Chemistry outline.

Some of that is still worth your time. Arithmetic fluency underpins the whole section, and the 57 algebra worksheets are the best part of the set. But a student who works the page top to bottom will spend a week on rationalizing imaginary denominators and reference angles for a test that asks about neither.

Data analysis gets three files: Times Series, Stem-and-Leaf Plot and Pie Graph. All three ask you to read a display. None asks the sufficiency question, which is whether what you have been given is enough to answer at all. Quantitative comparison gets nothing.

Fill in the blank, when the DAT is multiple choice

The Guide is plain that the DAT "is composed of multiple-choice test questions". Every item in all four worksheets we downloaded is written as a blank: "1) 42 = _____". There is no answer set to work against.

That matters more than it sounds. On a multiple-choice quantitative section, half the available technique is in the options: estimate and eliminate, test the answers back into the equation, spot the choice that is off by an order of magnitude. A worksheet trains the long way round every time.

Two other gaps run with it. Nothing here is timed, and the Guide gives Quantitative Reasoning 45 minutes for 40 items, a little over a minute each. And the answer page is bare: Rounding's second page reads "1) 40, 2) 90, 3) 20" and stops. Get one wrong and you learn that you got it wrong.

The DAT also gives you an on-screen calculator for this section. These worksheets assume paper and a pencil, which is good for building the arithmetic underneath and nothing like the thing you sit.

The easy end is easier than the exam ever gets

The first worksheet on the page asks candidates to round 42 to the nearest ten, then 1,382 to the nearest thousand. Rounding and Estimates, Adding and Subtracting Integers, Order of Operations and Simplifying Fractions follow.

For a graduate applying to dental school, that is not practice. It is the price of the set being built for 29 exams at once, most of them at a lower level than this one. Start at Simplifying Ratios, around a fifth of the way down the page, and you skip most of the filler.

Pricing

Free, with no catch attached to the worksheets. No account, no email capture, no download cap: every link opens a PDF, as Combinations and Permutations does. That puts it alongside the better entries in our free DAT resources guide.

Two things to weigh before buying up. One of those books is titled 2020, which is five years old and predates the ADA's move to a 200 to 600 score scale in March 2025. And the free worksheets, which are the reason to be on the page, were built in January 2024 and have not been rebuilt since.

The only real cost of the free set is paper. At two pages a file, printing all 119 is 238 sheets, which nobody should do.

Who Math Notion DAT worksheets are best for

• Students rebuilding algebra from a low base. Fifty-seven algebra worksheets that start gently and get harder are worth more than DAT-format questions you cannot yet attempt.
• Anyone three months or more out. This is early-prep material. Fix the skills now, then spend your timed practice on the real formats.
• Students who work better on paper. Most free DAT math practice is a browser app. This is a printer and a pencil.
• Anyone hunting one specific weak spot. Missed a question on the discriminant? There is a worksheet for exactly that, free, in under a minute.

When you might look elsewhere

You want the same thing, better organized. Effortless Math publishes 102 free printable DAT worksheets, rebuilt in June 2026 and grouped into clear topic sets. It has the same two format gaps, but less off-outline filler and a newer set of files. Both sit on our DAT question bank listing.

You need the other three sections. Quantitative Reasoning is 40 of the DAT's 280 scored items. Gold Standard at $199 is the only question bank we list that drills all four, the Perceptual Ability Test included, and a full course such as DAT Bootcamp does the same with teaching attached.

You need to know why you got it wrong. An answer key cannot tell you. That is the point where free stops being the cheaper option.

Final verdict

Math Notion has the biggest pile of free printable math practice in DAT prep, and it is genuinely free: 119 worksheets, answer keys throughout, no account, no limit. If your algebra is rusty and you have time, work the middle of that page and you will be better at the arithmetic the section runs on.

Is Math Notion or Effortless Math better for DAT math?

Effortless Math, narrowly. Its 102 worksheets were rebuilt in June 2026, are grouped by topic and carry less material the DAT does not test. Math Notion gives you more files and a wider range. Neither drills quantitative comparison or data sufficiency, so both need pairing with real DAT-format questions.
