One detail to watch: the annual plan is billed once and does not auto renew, but the semester plan does.
The Cheapest Route Is The Full Journey Pass
If you are still in nursing school and the NCLEX is somewhere ahead of you, the math is not close. The Full Journey Pass is $312 once for 24 months of access, which works out to about $13 a month. That is less than the cheapest nursing school plan alone, and it includes the full NCLEX-RN side as well.
Buying the two pieces separately gets expensive fast. A year of the annual Nursing School Pass plus a single $139 90-day NCLEX pass is $319, and that buys you 12 months plus 90 days instead of a flat 24 months. The bundle also throws in a free physical study guide book or flashcard set worth up to $80, redeemed with a code they email you.
The Full Journey Pass is the only plan where the access window is tied to your outcome rather than your calendar. SimpleNursing describes it as access until you pass, with free extensions if you do not pass the first time.
The $139 Mistake: The 90-Day Pass Has No Pass Guarantee
This is the single most expensive misunderstanding a SimpleNursing buyer can make, so read it twice.
The NCLEX Pass Guarantee applies to two plans: the $189 NCLEX-RN Pass Guarantee tier and the $312 Full Journey Pass. The $139 90-day NCLEX-RN pass does not include it. Neither does the $60 monthly NCLEX plan, and neither does any version of the Nursing School Pass. If the guarantee is what you are after, $189 is the cheapest way to get it.
Students buy the 90-day pass assuming that a plan named "NCLEX-RN Prep" comes with the safety net. It does not. If you are buying specifically for the guarantee, the 90-day pass is the wrong product and you will find that out at the worst possible moment.
It is also worth knowing what the guarantee is. SimpleNursing extends your subscription for free until you pass. It is an access extension, not a refund. That is a meaningfully weaker promise than NCLEX Bootcamp's guarantee, which refunds 100% of your payment on the 2 and 3 month plans. If getting your money back matters more to you than getting more study time, compare the two before you buy.
One more gap to check before you commit: the Nursing School Pass has no adaptive CAT practice tests and no readiness assessments. Those sit on the NCLEX-RN and Full Journey plans. A student who buys the $180 annual plan expecting NCLEX style adaptive testing has bought the course, not the exam prep.
