The cheapest way into Blueprint LSAT tutoring is 16 hours on the Core tier at $2,699, and the first cheque is really $2,823, because LSAC LawHub Advantage at $124 is required and sits outside every listed price. That is $176.44 an hour, and it includes six months of Blueprint's LSAT Self-Paced Course.

The course is the point. Per hour of tutor time Blueprint undercuts 7Sage at every package size, and it is the only LSAT tutoring we review that hands you a curriculum in the same purchase.

Buy it if you want a tutor and a study plan in one transaction. Look elsewhere if you already own a course you like, because a large part of what you are paying for sits in the bundle rather than in the hours.

Blueprint LSAT Tutoring Overview

Blueprint sells tutoring as three products rather than one. Every tier comes in 16, 24 and 40 hour packages, every tier bundles course access, and the tier decides both the course you get and the guarantee attached to it.

• Core pairs your hours with six months of the LSAT Self-Paced Course and the standard score increase guarantee. The bullets do not say what its tutors scored.
• Premium upgrades the bundle to six months of LSAT Live Online, which includes Self-Paced, and promises a 99th percentile tutor.
• 170+ is Premium plus the 170+ guarantee, which pays out in a refund or free hours rather than in extra tutoring alone.

Around the hours sit the parts that make it a program: a study plan your tutor writes and manages inside Blueprint's own planner, the learning modules, the practice exams and the Qbank that come with the bundled course. Matching is done by a person, not a form, after you fill in a questionnaire, and Blueprint says the tutor is assigned within two to three days. If the pairing is wrong you can switch at any time, free, and pick up where you left off.

One scheduling rule catches people out. Blueprint's tier pages state that tutoring hours must be completed over a minimum period of one month, so a 40 hour package cannot be compressed into the fortnight before test day.

Blueprint LSAT Tutoring Review For 2026

Two thirds of the prices are hidden until you click

Each tier page shows a single "From" price. The 24 hour and 40 hour prices exist only after you select that duration, and they do not appear in the page source before you do. Nine packages are on sale and three prices are visible.

That matters more than it sounds, because the discount curve is not the same on each tier, and the differences are large enough to change which package you should buy. We clicked through all nine and put them in one table further down. It is the only place we know of that has them side by side, including Blueprint's own site.

The tutor you get depends on the tier, and the page tells three stories about it

The tutoring page says, in its own body copy, that Blueprint's LSAT tutors "have all scored in the 97th percentile on an actual LSAT exam". Further down, the tutor section headline reads "98th percentile scorers, trained to teach". The Premium and 170+ bullets promise "a 99th percentile tutor". Core's bullets make no claim at all.

Three figures on one page is careless rather than dishonest, but the practical reading is clear enough: the 99th percentile promise is a paid upgrade, and buying Core means accepting an unstated standard. Compare that with 7Sage, which publishes each individual tutor's official score next to their name. Blueprint does neither, and its tutor pages name instructors without scores.

If the tutor's own score matters to you, that is an argument for Premium or for a competitor, not for Core.

The guarantee is real, and it bills you in homework

7Sage offers no score guarantee at any package size. Blueprint does, on every package of 16 hours or more, and the guarantee page sets out exactly what it costs you to stay eligible.

For the standard score increase guarantee on tutoring, if your score does not rise above your baseline, Blueprint gives you five complimentary hours with a premium tutor to be used within six months, plus six more months of resource access. To qualify you need a verified baseline, every purchased hour used, at least three Blueprint practice exams, and an extra 25 Qbank questions for every tutoring hour you bought.

That last clause is the one nobody quotes. It scales:

The 170+ guarantee on the top tier is a different animal. It pays a full refund, or a five month extension plus eight free tutoring hours, if you miss a 170 and miss a 10 point gain. In exchange you must attend 11 live course sessions and watch the twelfth, take Practice Exam 1 and seven more Blueprint exams, finish every learning module, use every tutoring hour, and answer 2,500 questions in total, of which at least 1,200 must come from Reading Comprehension.

Two conditions apply to all of it and are easy to miss. Only first-time Blueprint learners are eligible, and anyone upgrading into a guarantee product has to do it within 45 days of their first purchase. Separately, the supplemental tutoring packages Blueprint sells to students already enrolled in a course carry no guarantee at all.

Three things fall out of that grid.

The volume discount is a Core feature. Going from 16 to 40 hours on Core saves $18.71 an hour, which is a genuine 11 percent cut. The same jump on Premium saves $6.44 an hour, or 2 percent. If you were buying Premium and stretching to 40 hours for the discount, there is no discount to reach.

The 170+ guarantee costs a flat $600. At 16 hours, at 24 hours and at 40 hours, the 170+ package is exactly $600 more than Premium, and the only difference is which guarantee is attached. That flat fee is 12.5 percent of the bill on the smallest package and 5.5 percent on the largest. If you want the refund clause, the largest package is where it is cheapest to buy it, which is the opposite of how most upsells work.

Premium is a bargain at 16 hours and expensive at 40. Premium costs $1,500 more than Core at 16 hours, $2,300 more at 24, and $4,241 more at 40. Blueprint lists its standalone LSAT Live Course at $1,299 on the same page, so at 16 hours the Live Online upgrade plus a 99th percentile tutor costs about $201 above the value of the course itself, or $12.56 an hour. At 40 hours the same upgrade costs $2,942 above it, or $73.55 an hour, for the same promise.

The fee that is not in any of those numbers

LSAC LawHub Advantage is required to reach real LSAT questions on any third-party platform, and Blueprint says so in the footnote under every price. It costs $124, it is added to your cart automatically, and you can remove it only if you already bought it from LSAC. It is also excluded from guarantee-related refunds, so a successful refund claim does not return it.

How it compares

Against 7Sage, the comparison is not close once you count what each package contains. 7Sage sells 10 hours for $2,399, at $239.90 an hour, and requires both a 7Sage plan from $69 a month and the same $124 of LawHub, neither of them included. Six months of that plan takes a 10 hour 7Sage purchase to $2,937, or $293.70 an hour. Blueprint's $2,823 buys 16 hours and six months of a course.

Against Juris Education, Blueprint loses on the raw rate. Juris starts at $3,500 for 24 hours on its Master program, which is $145.83 an hour, below Blueprint's best Core rate of $149.98, and its Director program is $4,500 for the same 24 hours. Juris also attaches a 165 score guarantee to its 60 hour package and 167 to its 96 hour package, which are harder promises than "your score will go up". What Juris does not include is a course.

Blueprint's own catalogue is the other comparison worth making. The tutoring page lists the Self-Paced Course from $99 a month, the Live Course at $1,299, and the 170+ Course at $1,599. Who Blueprint LSAT Tutoring Is Best For

• Students starting from nothing who want one purchase. The bundled course means you are not buying a curriculum separately, which is the single biggest reason Blueprint's effective rate beats 7Sage
• Anyone buying on the Core tier. Core is where the volume discount is real and where the price per hour is competitive with anything except Juris Education's Master program
• Students who want a guarantee in writing. No other LSAT tutoring we review attaches a score increase guarantee to a package this small
• First-time Blueprint customers. The guarantee is closed to returning customers, so if you are going to use Blueprint at all, tutoring is a reasonable first purchase rather than a later top-up
• Students chasing 170 with a long runway. The 170+ tier's refund clause is the strongest promise on the site, and at 40 hours the $600 it costs is 5.5 percent of the bill

When You Might Look Elsewhere

• You care who your tutor is. 7Sage publishes every tutor's official LSAT score next to their name. Blueprint gives three different percentile figures on one page and none at all for Core
• You want the lowest hourly rate and no course. Juris Education is $145.83 an hour on 24 Master hours, below Blueprint's best rate, with a 165 score floor on its larger packages
• You have already bought from Blueprint. Supplemental tutoring for current students carries no guarantee, and the all-guarantee terms exclude anyone who is not a first-time learner

Final Verdict

The practical advice: buy Core unless the tutor's own percentile is the thing you are paying for, and buy the largest Core package you can genuinely use inside your timeline, because that is where the discount lives. If you want the 170+ refund clause, buy it at 40 hours where it costs 5.5 percent rather than 12.5 percent.
